06/07/08 We supported The Beat and Hayseed Dixie at Holmfirth Picturedrome

02/06/08 The Moot have been booked at last minute to play Thimbleberry Music Festival in County Durham on Sat 7th June!

09/04/08 We are recording our debut album which will be ready for release in summer 2008. We also have some art work lined up from Adrian Kenyon for the album cover.

02/04/08 The Moot featured on BBC 3 on Sunday 30th of March as part of Upstaged.

21/02/08 We are back in the box! Thanks all so much for your votes, you can vote for us every 5 mins from 3.45pm until 9.45pm tomorrow (Fri 22nd Feb) Thanks all again and see you tomorrow!

18/02/08 We got a phone call and we can re-enter the bbc upstaged competition. So we set up another profile and you can vote for us again! Thanks all!

15/02/08 We played in the glass box in Bristol yesterday as part of the bbc upstaged competition and had a great time. Thanks all for your voting, we lost out to the Vloggers but had a wonderful experience anyway playing 54 songs, jamming and writing. Thanks to Mr McShengle for coming into the box and helping out and thankyou all again for the support! There will be highlights of our set on BBC 3 next friday @ 9.45pm!

08/02/08 THE MOOT DIDN'T MAKE IT THROUGH TO THE BOX YESTERDAY IN THE TOP 5 BUT YOUR VOTES HAVE MEANT WE ARE BACK IN THE TOP 5 TODAY AS WELL. THIS MEANS WE ARE BACK IN FOR A FRESH ROUND OF VOTING SO PLEASE CAN YOU VOTE FOR US AGAIN.

WE NEED AS MANY VOTES AS POSSIBLE B4 MONDAY AT 12 NOON TO BE VOTED INTO THE BBC UPSTAGED GLASS BOX IN BRISTOL TO PLAY FOR 6HRS LIVE ON BBC UPSTAGED STREAMS ON TUESDAY.

IF WE GET INTO THE BOX WE COMPETE AGAINST ANOTHER COMPETITOR FOR A PLACE IN A BOX THE NEXT DAY AND HOPEFULLY ONTO THE FINAL WITH A CHANCE TO WIN £10,000.
